The Dementia Hub Project is a new service in Brent offering tailored support to people living with dementia and their families. The team can provide advice about benefits, the social care system and how to access wellbeing support such as Dementia Café’s. We hope that once you or your loved one have a diagnosis; we can offer you services that will ensure you continue to live well with dementia.

The Ashford Place Dementia team now has a new telephone service for people living with dementia and their families in Brent. It offers a friendly voice and guidance when you are unsure how or where to get the help you need. You will be supported through the relevant information and services both locally and nationally so that you can continue to live well with dementia.

Dementia Café’s offer a safe and welcoming environment for people living with dementia and their carer/families. Several cafés operate in Brent and offer wellbeing services such as arts and crafts, chair yoga, quizzes and more. The cafés are listed below or alternatively use our map to find the café closest to you.
COVID update: Cafés are currently offering remote services by telephone or Zoom. They hope to resume in person services as soon as it is safe to do so. For details about your local café and the services they are offering during this time – please contact them directly, or the Hub Team.
The Brent Peer Support Project is run by Ashford Place and supports people living with dementia to support others. Suitable for people who have capacity to engage in a peer support role.
