The Dementia Hub Project is a new service in Brent offering tailored support to people living with dementia and their families. The team can provide advice about benefits, the social care system and how to access wellbeing support such as Dementia Cafés. We hope that once you or your loved one have a diagnosis; we can offer you services that will ensure you continue to live well with dementia.

The Ashford Place Dementia team now has a new telephone service for people living with dementia and their families in Brent. It offers a friendly voice and guidance when you are unsure how or where to get the help you need. You will be supported through the relevant information and services both locally and nationally so that you can continue to live well with dementia.

Dementia Cafés offer a safe and welcoming environment for people living with dementia and their carer/families. Several cafés operate in Brent and offer wellbeing services such as arts and crafts, chair yoga, quizzes and more. The cafés are detailed below.

Dementia Voices Project works with people living with Dementia so that they are involved in decision making about services they use. This includes co-producing material, working with GPs, the NHS clinical commissioning groups, the GLA or museums, theatres and Transport for London and other dementia charities in Brent, across London and UK wide.
Dementia Voices Project works alongside the Dementia Peer Support Service in Brent, to help people living with dementia get the most out of their lives and working to make Brent a Dementia Friendly Borough. Dementia Voices Project is supported by Trust for London.
The Brent Dementia Peer Support Service is run by Ashford Place supporting people living with dementia to support others living with the diagnosis. The service is suitable for people who can engage in a peer support role.
