Play football for dementia as part of our contribution to Dementia Week May 20 – 26th

in NEWS & Update

Quintain, Ashford Place, Silver Jubilee Park and Brent council are collaborating to bring Dementia Awareness Week to the forefront of conversations this May. Almost all of us know someone affected by dementia. But too many people living with dementia report feeling cut off from their community. We all have a role to play in making the UK a dementia-friendly place to live. Hendon FC/Silver Jubilee Park is kindly hosting a charity football match in order to raise funds for Ashford Place, which hosts one of Brent’s multiple Dementia Cafes.

There’ll be plenty of laughs, familiar faces and refreshments to enjoy at the Silver Jubilee Park, and we’d encourage you to tell a friend to friend. Come to watch your fellow colleagues, friends and family play on Wed 22nd May 2019 alongside real Hendon FC players on the official Hendon FC football grounds!!

Are you a keen football fan? Come along and support your colleagues and friends – £3 per ticket (purchase a ticket at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/dementia-awareness-week-charity-football-match-tickets-59824251948)

Can’t make the date but would like to contribute? Please donate to the fundraising page below: https://www.justgiving.com/cad-brent

Want to volunteer? Help us run the event and volunteer your support (email volunteering@quintain.co.uk)

Kick off starts 15:00, join us after the match for refreshments and a raffle from 17:00 till late. All are welcome.
